Theodora Cleave (Barb Smith formerly Woodcutter’s Daughter) will host a trunk show at my shop on Sat 12^th November from 2:00. No cost, but please RSVP for catering by today if planning to attend. Barb's new buttons are absolutely stunning and have been racing out of the shop at a fast rate. Just love the gollie head Barb has done for me !!!

Well we had all three yesterday but could have done without the first two.
The shop suffered yet again with the (approx 20 minute) storm. Luckily the shop front is all in tact (unlike last time). It was such a wonderful feeling walking in the front door after receiving the urgent call to "get in there", to find dry floorboards. The workshop room and storeroom have wet carpet which will necessitate us taking everything out of both rooms (UGH!!!). There is just so so much stuff !!! Fortunately almost everything was up off the floor and what was on the floor was in plastic tubs. Hopefully this won't put me too far behind scehdule with orders.

Apology re shop hours

I apologise to those who came to my shop this past Monday ( 19th Sept) and thought the shop should have been open. On Mondays I have been "open by appointment only " for a couple of years now, but my sign stating that, had been stolen, revealing only the painted sign which stated I should be open on Mondays. Some poor folk came back a couple of times and found that I was still closed. I do apologise for any inconvenience.
Also beginning in October my hours will change as I need a little "down time". I will be closing at 4:00p.m. Tuesday to Friday and 10-2 will remain for Saturday. Sunday will remain closed, and Monday by appointment. Because I am often out of range on my mobile on Monday, I need advanced notice of your visit.0424 452 024 I will come and open for you if it's at all possible. Lynn

My latest mystery -Picnic Time For Bears Stage 3

There are two and a half parts to this stage of the mystery. Tamara peers over her glasses as she reads her book. Pa has fallen asleep whilst reading his paper (and supposedly looking after Cooper and friends)...not to mention his coffee is spilled !! Cooper is sullen as his kite has crashed into Pa.
Pattern: this stage is not available separately due to its size and shape. The full pattern for the whole mystery is $55.00 but only stages 1,2 and 3 are available as yet. Stages 4 and 5 will be posted as they become "solved".

Shop hours in August :- from 9^th to 20th:

Almost certainly the hours will be reduced from 9^th August resuming normal hours on Tuesday 23^rd August. Probably the days will remain the same, but hours will possibly be 10-3. I suggest looking at my blog for updates in this regard. I would hate people to travel and find the shop closed.
